I was ready accept this as a losing season and was just hoping to win the lottery, but then they have this run and I'm like now all i want is just to make the playoffs, even if they're most likely gonna get knocked out in round 1 anyways.

Nah this run was great because it means they can give up their 1st this year.

Their 1st will probably be like 14th overall, just give it to San Jose and let the Karlsson trade be over.
