The seventh round selection will become a sixth round selection if Nash appears in 25 percent of the Maple Leafs' playoff games in 2021.
He’ll already be a week into recovery from his 4-6 week injury by the deadline. If he has to go to Canada it’ll be like nothing happened potentially. I think he still gets traded, but for a very small return (conditional pick as mentioned)
What is the condition? He scores the GWG in Game 7 of Lord Stanley's Cup?
If he plays in 25% of Toronto's playoff games, it turns into a 6th
Can a columbus fan give us a breakdown of where is game is at for us leaf fans? We are looking for a bit more sandpaper/grit in the bottom 6, and the lines have been a game of musical chairs so if he can play both wing and centre it would be a bonus.
as noted in the original post

his game is currently in the trainer room for the next 6 weeks. But he has been solid for us in the playoffs. Not really a sandpaper kind of guy, though. But good shut down guy and will randomly throw in an important goal (in the playoffs, not the regular season).
He's a solid player, pretty good defensively, doesn't wow you with anything but will get the job done. Can play wing if needed. Wouldn't call him "physical" in the sense you might expect/be looking for for a "sandpaper/grit" bottom 6 guy, but he makes the right play more often than not.
One thing that I think is important to note that happened (in both of his years here) was he elevated his game in the playoffs. If anything, guys normally shrink in the playoffs compared to the regular season. He did the opposite. I think it's fair to say he played at a 3rd-line level at center in the playoffs each of the two years here, even though he's a 4th liner.
Appreciate the insight, sounds like he will improve our C depth nicely. Best of luck the rest of the way.extremely solid 4th line defensive player. Good PKer. Smart. Wouldn’t say he’s gritty but he’s not a wuss either.
More than I thought we would have gotten for him.
