I would really appreciate some player comparisons

Not a bad list, I think Latendresse, Cogliano, and Fritsche will each go back about 10 picks or so, and Alexander Vincent and Daniel Bertram will get moved up a bit, otherwise preety good I think, nice picks.

 

[Form and Substance]

I can't see anyone taking Cogliano in the top 10. I still think he has top 5 talent but the fact that he barely won the OHA scoring title worries me a bit. He has a long way to go defensively and his offense hasn't improved all that much since last year. Granted, playing at a higher level next will certainly pick up the slack.

EDT: Nevermind, I thought the poster above was arguing that Cogliano should be taken top 10.

Well if a team needs a power forward type guy and have the 7th pick, he'd probably go anywhere from 7-15.
