Another one of My stories as an analogy to your frustration...

My daughter was in 1st then 2nd year nursing...

She came to Me and complained, "they are making me take courses that are useless for caregiving/nursing.... "I think I will quit and do something else"...

I replied... "it's a means to an end"...

The 2nd year she came back to Me again and said, "some of My instructors in professional courses are political/non-sensical, all I want to learn is how to care and treat persons"... and again she said, "I think I will quit and do something else"...

I replied... "it's a means to an end"...

She received her RN degree a couple years later... at her convocation the Dean of the Professional's Faculty said in his Convocation speech... "be an Activist"...

My wife gripped my arm to prevent me from rising up and yelling out... " no serve your communities a-hole"...

My daughter went on to travel the world learning all sorts of treatments on keeping people healthy... she is an excellent nurse, caregiver, and citizen in our community... she recently finished her Osteopathy designation in Canada... and will set up a wellness centre serving a community somewhere in the near future...
