Cause that is something that would only be written by someone having a frickin' stroke.
As many of you likely know, the band had so much success with this song but ended up hating it. From my understanding they refused to play it in concert for 10 years, finally giving in a few years ago.
They wrote this as a Tribute to how they understood how "Creep" made them and they had to accept its popularity but not like it.
