No point in the icing rule if they linesmen aren't going to actually call it. The officiating is the worst it has ever been.

Nay if the review board does as good of job as the refs.

Nice to see Reinhart standing up for himself sparked the effort at the end of the game.

Before Mr. Incoherent comments on this, it's very true. Reffing around the league this year has been really awful. Some of it is league mandated (if the league wanted all the holds called, they would be called) but some of it is just missed calls, missed plays...bad stuff.

Every single close up replay seemed to show the Coyotes taking a penalty.

No puck luck at all today either.

Definitely a suspension.

Oilers outplayed them badly in the 3rd.

McDavid, Draisaitl, Kassian, Yakupov, Oesterle, Reinhart all looked pretty good. Pakarinen continues to impress.

The rest can GTFO.

Nay. Looked like a bigger guy finishing a check on a smaller guy.

Good battle from the guys though. They played with heart in the 3rd.

There are certain players on this team that have 0 ability to win board battles.

Can't wait to get rid of those players

Eberle is particularly bad at this and Clendening is actually worse than Schultz

Other than that, good game.

Main point of initial contact was clearly Nuge's head. His head spin 90 degrees before his body moved at all. Murphy also left his feet on the play.

Yep. IMO Eberle is gone this offseason. Yak too. Clendening will be pushed down the depth chart / gone.

Could've easily won if guys finished on their chances. Pretty easy to understand why the Yotes have so few fans after just watching 5 games a year against them.

The worst thing so far for me is how far Hall's play has fallen. He's facing way worse competition now that McDavid is back and he keeps under performing. Draisaitl may not be wracking up the points, but at least he is doing a lot of good things out there. I almost think that his production has fallen off because he's been saddled with Hall.

Conversely, McDavid is 19 years old, facing other teams best defender's and is over a PPG. He's ****ing amazing.

A new low for Stauffer in his career as a turd polisher when he suggests that the Oilers have too many young players and everyone knows that young players get injured more often. Huh?

pretty tough to watch that 3rd period...

how is it possible to lose 19 times to the same team????

frustrated beyond description....

I feel like one of those 3 loser fans in Major League who keep cheering no matter how bad their team is...

off to listen to CHED make excuses for #14 the rest of the crew...

Absolutely clean hit. Shoulder to shoulder and then his pad ran up to the Nuge's head. A bigger man clobbering a smaller, slighter man. Just like the rest of the Oilers tonight. Got ran out of the rink. No secret why the Coyotes continue to beat them game after game. They are a big, physical, nasty bunch of hombres, and every single guy finishes his check, big time. Until Chia adresses this and gets rid of the little guys and the ones that play little, it's going to be more of the same.

Need some players with finish who go to the tough spots. The fancy pants syndrome isn't working.

Maroon is one guy who knows how it works. Kassian has potatoes for brains or otherwise he might be good that way as well. Need a couple other guys that will bleed to score goals. Oh and real defensemen. Not Clendening and Reinhart.
