Galchenyuk produced when he was at center, but he doesn't have the iq, defensive awareness and faceoff strength to be a good centerman. He doesn't have the experience either. I think of his 418 nhl games, about only 100 of those he played center.

And during his last haft season in Sarnia, he was playing on a wing too. No, he is not a centerman. He loves playing centre because he is afraid to skate along the boards. And usual;y, he score most of his goals from the right face off circles like if he was a RW. He is a liability defensively, and plays a good game about once every four games.
