It becomes so much harder now imo.

The only names i'm sure belong on this list are Ranta, and Marner - as their skillset + age are above the rest. Svech is an easy yes too I think - probably Huberdeau too, but he gets so little hype/attention in Fla.

I voted for Ovechkin but hesitated. He'll be 35 next year, it's almost stupid. He's going to slow down soon. The other 5 are flip a coin

Marner getting this many votes is insane. His contract is terrible.

Marner is on pace for 95 points
Rantanen is on pace for 80 points

1.5 million difference between the 2 - do you think Rantanen's contract is terrible too?

I voted for both of them, I think both are a bit overpaid, but at the end of the day, 1-1.5 million doesn't change my opinion of a player much. I'd rather Point than either, but these 2 have term so there is hope they could earn that 1-1.5 million gap in their reality vs their production. I imagine most GM's could live with a slight overpay on players this talented.

Consider adding Dougie Hamilton Hampus Lindholm and picks #2 and #3 and 2020.

Great ideas! I can't believe I didn't have Douggie up there already.

4-way tie for the 9th spot right now

Zibby on a 57 goal pace over 82 this year. He's gotta be rising up the rankings!

Going to close this one up soon, hopefully someone can break the tie between Laine and Zibby:

Add Adam Fox and Tony DeAngelo.

That would be tough - they would have to bump out some of these:

Potential adds to next round:
Vasilevsky
Byram
Kuznetsov
Bergeron?
Morrissey
Rielly
Dobson
Sanheim
Dach
Gibson
Giroux
Guentzel
D. Hamilton
E. Lindholm
H. Lindholm
2020 2nd overall
2020 3rd overall

I am not sure those two are at that level yet.
