Most former captains on one team?

Does anyone know the team that held the most former captains at one time? I know that the Dallas stars in the late 1990's had many, as did team Canada in 2010. Remember, I'm talking about former captains and not captains to be.

Thanks.

Not exactly an answer to your question, but...

At the 2006 olympics, Canada lost against Russia, Finland and Switzerland. The three games ended 2-0. Really depressing results for Canada, as we all remember.

These teams were captained by three Habs players: Kovalev, Koivu and Streit.

And the funny thing is that the Habs were clearly lacking in the leadership department at the time!?

probably the wild or the sabres when those teams went with revolving captains in the mid-00s. by the end of those runs, damn near half the team would be "former captains."

You're right, this post as literally nothing to do with the topic matter.

I was thinking the late 90s Rangers but see that 'vadim sharifijanov' did a great job covering this already.
