McDavid, not close either. Malkin is insanely talented, but I can’t think of any player in the past 20 years that could do something like this:

I feel that McDavid is likely more skilled while Malkin's superior size and strength enable him to do things Connor can't do, which makes it a close call as to who is more effective offensively overall when you compare them at their best.
