I honestly know very little about both of them

Mesar has a similar ceiling to Plekanec.
Kulich reminds me of Pacioretty.

Pick your poison? I think Kulich is better, I had him 3 spots ahead.

2 Very different players, oddly enough i think if these 2 were to play on the same line they would complement each other exceptionally well.

I'm assuming the Habs did not go with Kulich because they thought they had a better player in Slaf or maybe they thought Kulich would be available by 33?
