At this point, people should just try to see him as a 3rd liner, and think that he has Danault,s salary, while Danault has Pleks's....

People get way to caught up in Playstation management techniques, when in reality GMs are looking to see what kind of team - not simply collection of individuals in a vacuum - they can put together for $73 mil or less. Get rid of Desharnais and we have 4 centres signed for, what, $11 mil including Pleks? I think any GM would be content getting our record out of that. Having him all this time has allowed us to shelter centres who have certainly needed sheltering, and that's built into his contract for sure.
