Why is it that every have fan here just assumes all teams have an interest in Pacioretty?

He's a good player, but the flyers aren't buyers. Go call team that is.

laughably bad for Philly

I would assume that they would want Montreal's first round pick not protected, there's no way that they're going to sell that low on last year's number 2 pick no matter how much he's struggled/injured etc.

Morin is better than Pacioretty now ? What a joke...
Reading comprehension or naw?

Philly nor MTL are contenders. 1st round pick 11th overall defender who is 22 years old with all the physical tools in the world has more value than a 30 year old winger having a very down year on pace for less than 50 points. Pacioretty has no value to a young team building for the future, I say this as someone who is always vocally supportive of Pacioretty and someone who isn't big on Morin.

Most Montreal posts in the trade forum are just cringe worthy right now. A year and a half of a currently under performing 29 year old forward just isn't worth anywhere near what some of these proposals are asking.

Definitely a nooooo from Philly.

Can't be selling low on Patrick. Shows his skill, but it just isn't working right now. He's coming off some major surgies that slowed Giroux and Ghost down last year.

Morin is the defensive Dman for the flyers in the future. He's what the fans want on a team- someone who is physical, mean, and good at his position.

6th doesn't do anything in this.

Patches is nearing the twilight of his prime and Philly isn't a contending team. No way they give up 2 real good futures for him.

Poehling is a fair add, but not at the expense of taking on Patches and giving away one of our top D prospects and our young C of the future.

3rd doesn't really do anything here too.

This trade heavily favors that of Montreal and it literally addresses 0 needs for Philly. This trade only creates more problems/holes for them. Easy no from the Flyers.

Yakupov is a 24 year old who went 1st overall. You do know there is more to hockey than physical tools for a defenseman right? Morin can't even produce at a decent pace in the AHL.

he's a defensive dman. they aren't supposed to produce points. he has 6 in 13 which is just under a .5 ppg pace, not like it matters
