Surprised Gorka was released. He was a bargain at the price we paid him last year...compared to Krol's 100 000$+ salary :shakehead

Maybe I wouldn't mind Pearce if he was playing as a Fullback.. but my guess is that Klopas will still play him as a CB

Every ****ing day I'm getting more depressed about the direction this team is taking.

Atleast we're not TFC I guess.

I wish... I think TFC is going to be very good next year.

They've had time to gel and getting a 3rd DP($5 million +) who actually wants to play will make that team very good.

Us?

I think we have the pieces to be great, look at New england in 2012 and 2013. Or DC 2013. We have a bunch of parts, and the potential to have them come together.

Will they?

No one has any effing idea.

Well, I think Romero, Piatti and Mapp are a winning midfield.

JGL and Mallace are growing into their LB and DM roles respectively.

Otherwise, yeah, not much. But as we said, lets wait and see what we get in the next 2 months.

In more interesting news, Coup Franc had a brilliant segment this week. They found quotes by Braz and Shallybaum and asked the others which quote refers to whom.

They concluded that pretty much every possible quote has been said be every member of the FO at some point in the last 3 years :D

We have sub par goaltending, no defense (literally), very weak and thin at DM and midfield, excellent wingers and a decent striker.

Smith! But he plays where we're stacked. Though I'd probably trade Issey. He's good but I don't think he fits here.

Wait, nobody will fit under this coach, he's clueless.

I don't think I've ever been as negative for a club than for this one. What an absolute mess.

We have Callum ****ing Mallace. How dare you say we're overrated

(I'm actually hoping that he has his breakout season this year with the glimpses that he showed near the end of last season)

You mean a breakout year being a bench guy 'cause I don't see him as a starter. If we do, than we're in deep ****!

I will reserve judgement by the end of January.

Really? I'm assuming you're writing this while rolling your eyes, right? Is he even still in the picture? He's done absolutely nothing playing in an inferior league...that speaks volumes

She was clearly kidding . We may have some tough seasons ahead, but one thing is for certain... the Impact have a great academy. Once surrounded by legitimate MLS caliber players, the franchise will be headed in the right direction.

wE ARE MISSING SPEED at the backline. Thats why I suggested Marvell Wynne. Corey Ashe is still available (?) or we can go for a guy like Kevin Alston whose minutes had been drastically decreased, but I doubt NE will let him go easily.

I don't think the team has any interest in signing any more full backs. We already have Camara, Miller, Toia, Tissot, Krol (believe it or not), plus JGL and Ouimette who can play there.

Signing one or two CBs is inevitable though depending on what we do with Lopez.

Great title btw.
