I don't know what happened to Emelin. He was never THIS bad.

The right word for him is 'inconsistent'. Some games he's good and then others...

Emelin let Jager skate away from the corner with the puck.

Jagr has done that to many a defender.


I don't want to sound like an apologist for Emelin because I don't think he's played that well, but I can forgive him for losing a corner battle to Jagr and I do think he was hung out to dry with a bad pass on the first goal.

Anyways, the Devils have been the better team ever since they scored that first goal.
