Detroit downgrades wingers for a pick that probably lands in 46-56 and AHL players.

No thanks.

Not really interested ATM from a Montreal perspective.

I'm a big AA fan, but Montreal has no problem producing offense right now, and Lehkonen's two way play is probably more useful than AA's speed.

Athanasiou is not the player MTL should go for : I believe due to his 30 goal season he will be overpriced and he is RFA this year (bigger contract next year in perspective). Depending on his performance this year, he may fetch a 1st + at the TDL, no reason for Detroit to trade him now. My guess is that if he does not perform accordingly, Detroit just keeps him.

Jake Evans is about as sure a bet to be a bottom six player as you can get. Not interested in this from a Montreal standpoint at all. Go big or go home when it comes to trades, there's already like six second line players on the team if trading for forwards it needs to be a gamebreaker

Cool. Why does a rebuilding team trade a 25 year old Top 6 forward for a 23 year old maybe bottom 6 forward?
