subban and suter are the nhl's best dman, right now. not sure why subban get the hate he does, he's the league's most well rounded d man. play all situations well, and is top 5 in every category, can be physical.

I always find this excuse baffling.

The reason he hasn't been given much top-six time is because he hasn't played at the calibre of a top six player.

The funny thing is, a lot of the "hockey experts" on this forum last year, while they were criticizing the trade, said the reason that Sekac wasn't tearing it up in Anaheim like they had predicted was because the Ducks were so deep offensively that it was hard for him to crack the top six. Now we're being told the Ducks are lousy ... and he's still not getting Top Six minutes.
