you must be on glue to think that Burke would trade his best defenceman, this years pick, possibly a lottery pick next year, just to move up five spots.

He might make the trade with Tampa but it will not include this years first and next years first.

He may very well be on glue but if you think that Toronto can acquire the #2 overall pick for just Tomas Kaberle after the horrendous season he had last year, I think the OP is not the only one who's getting his sniffs in.

You really can't look at it as "moving up five spots." It's trading MPS or Cowan plus Kaberle plus next year's No. 1 for Tavares, which I think is just totally nuts. If Toronto wants to do that, I'm sure Tampa Bay is listening.
