Here is my top 20 for the upcoming 2019 NHL entry draft!

Please post your opinions, as I am open to hearing your arguments as to why a player might go higher or lower. This could include why your team might prefer another player!

This is how I see the draft going, not necessarily how I have the top 20 ranked. I have my own intuitions/instincts on some players but will leave that for discussion. Of course some of my own bias may have slipped into this list,

Happy scouting! Enjoy the semis and finals of u18s this weekend :)

Let me know what you think or feel!

I appreciate the replies. After getting a decent viewing of Broberg this tournament. I sense he will go closer to where he has been ranked most of the year. Could see Anaheim or Vancouver taking him, and its unlikely he falls to 15 at this point. I could see Habs taking Sods or Heinola, just thought harleys raw skills, potential, skating ability and size would be very complimentary to their lineup. I think he will improve a lot next season both offensively and defensively.

Knight to Vegas makes sense because they need a goalie and “Knight the Knight” sounds cool.

I'm usually open to different possibilities with picks.. but there is no way the Oilers would take Broberg in this position. I would be shocked. They have so many defenseman coming along that they are going to have to trade 1 or 2 on their main roster just to make room in Bakersfield next season. It's an organizational strength whereas forwards on the main roster and pipeline are both weak. Makes no sense for the Oilers to reach on a defenseman over a forward.

The Oilers passing on a 6'4 right handed center who is a local kid to boot, I just don't see it.

I actually think Anaheim will trade up to take Dach, I think Edmonton might trade down too but at the same time take a player that won't eat away at their salary because they're in it for the long haul.

I too see Kaako going 1st overall as well as Zegras going before Dach. Kings getting Turcotte would make my day. If we had to lose YET AGAIN in the lottery at least getting Turcotte would be an excellent consolation prize. [MOD]

If the Rangers take Knight I'm going ballistic unless they trade him/pick immediately to the 21/22nd spot team and getting another pick. They have Georgiev/Shestyorkin plus they spent a second rounder on Olof Lindbom
