Croatia played great, France played smart. Modric is an absolute beast, he is a baller...Someone mentioned Hazard, really? the guy is flash, while Modric is all, what a football should be.
No doubt about Modric. I had no allegiance to either team in the final, but was hoping Croatia could pull it out mainly because I've always liked Modric's game, work ethic, and style.

It’s amazing how fast the league season approaches during a World Cup year. Prem starts on August 15th.

Looking at things now in a vacuum, Man City and Liverpool should finish top 4. If Chelsea loads up under Sarri, it’s gling to be quite a push between Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal and Tottenham for 3 and 4

Yeah, no consistency from a guy who won man of the match in four of the... six games he played. Hazard was easily the superior player, and again, Modric wasn’t the best player on his team, barely on his team’s midfield.

Man. United's preseason tour gets underway tonight in Arizona against Club America, and ICC matches will be sprinkled around the country.

After a nice start to the year it feels like the Revs have regressed back where they were expected to be. After being so close to a respectable home stand a 3 minute lapse in stoppage time left the Revs taking 4 out of 9 points over the three game stand. The woes continued last night in Minnesota as they controlled possession but could not cash in and fell 2-1. Reinforcements are badly needed or this team will fall out of the playoff picture but Kraft is probably more concerned about closing that Sevilla deal for a minority stake in the club.

Fenway is not a SSS.... THAT'S WHAT MLS requires and FSG doesn't own the Revolution, JS, the Krafts do
it was just an observation it could be hard for the revs in a few years .if the pats go back to being a normal team the Foxborough economy Could get worse a Nfl team is still a big draw for some parts of the year but it would be more difficult to sell a 10-6 team in Foxborough ma team than a historically dominant team

the above observation is a false narrative, Js, if you've ever been here for a length of time, that's why there's nowhere to put another facility in Metrowest, it's not for a lack of trying.... besides, Gillette needs tenants, and is also a concert venue outside of the disaster that the Commonwealth there already is, there are no signs anywhere once you get past TD Garden/North Station that anywhere from Springfield/ Worcester north, south, east, or West, do those cities/ towns exist, even if you know where Gillette is, it's extremely difficult to impossible to take those access to get to Foxboro, local or tourist.... the venue sits off a 2 lane road in Foxboro.... much the way New Hampshire Motor Speedway is on a 2 lane highway in Loudon off 106

The only way the Revs would ever play home games at Fenway is if FSG bought the team, and I don't see any indication that either FSG wants to buy the Revs, or that the Krafts want to sell them.

The more immediate concern for this Revs fan is why the Krafts have slashed their payroll this season.
