I know it's a ways away, but if I'm Detroit, Oakland or LA, I do not want Boston making the playoffs. Lester and Lackey is about as good as a 1-2 as you can find. Now that JBJ is playing well and Victorino is healthy and even Steven Drew is playing well, we can finally field and entire lineup of capable hitters. So happy AJ's gone too.

happ throws primarily fastballs. drew struggles against lefties with good offspeed stuff.

joe and dave on the radio are acting like peavy's this terrible pitcher.

he's gotten terrible run support but actually pitched very well for a 3 or a 4.

He has had some terrible luck, no doubt. It seems when he pitches well he doesn't get the support, but when he does get support he pitches bad.

he's failed to go six innings only twice this season.

walks are way up for him but he's not pitching bad. still, some will see only the one win for him and think he's a bad pitcher.
