I wonder what Lefebrve would do with them if he was still here? Possibly a sit down… That bastard single-handedly set our franchise a decade behind. This was not too long ago…

So with this lineup, do the Rocket make any noise this year....playoff run?

I think it will depend how well all the young guys coming in adapt. And if Dobes is the #1, how will he adapt to being the go-to guy between the pipes in the pros?

I like the vets: Stephens, Andersson, Maillet, Keeper, Gignac & Bisson.

Curious if they will sign Abbandonato and/or Dello. Because they'd also be good vets to add. Especially since they've been with the team for a few years. And it's always good to have vets who know what it is to be a Laval Rocket.

Lafebrve was not a good coach but our prospect pool was not great either. Only 8 top 100 picks from 08-11. That's pretty bad.

It was a double whammy

Stephens was Laval's best player most of last year and he could play a 4th line roll on the big club in a pinch in case we have a rash of injuries again this upcoming season. Good player to have in the organization!

If reasonably healthy, I think they'll be really good. Better than last year with a solid playoff spot.

I wonder who the captain will be?

Abbandonato was solid and so was Dello. Not much room left though, if any.

Don't know why people are penciling in Armia and Hoffman or even Wideman. I'd be surprised if that happened. Maybe Wideman. It's not that common that experienced nhl vets get sent down. Especially 2 or 3 at once.

So like, did the Habs just forgot to release the news after registering the contract with the NHL.

Seems like it. Before I made this thread, I was waiting for about 15 minutes to see if Habs will officially announce it. When I saw it wasn't happening, I created the thread with CapFriendly's tweet.
