Saw it today, pretty awful movie. It's a Laika movie so you know they put in a ton of manual labor (and it had a few nice visual set pieces), but a bland and generic plot, unlikeable characters, and poor/rushed character development.
I thought the movie would be bad based on the trailer and I initially had no interest in seeing it, but the RT reviews fooled me into going.
Easily the worst Laika movie, and a huge step down from Coraline and Kubo.
