He might not be the worst guy out there. But he does make more than fair share of stupid plays.

But yeah, not as bad as people make it out to be.

The majority of his stupid plays are made when he has the puck in the offensive or neutral zone, not the defensive zone. And I don't even think he makes more than his fair share. He's not Suter or Weber but his defense is at worst average.

And frankly now that he's not playing Bylsma's system anymore he's looked like a completely different player, so I question whether his abilities were ever the problem to begin with.

That Patrick Roy is a Tortorella levels of fiery as a coach just because of what he did his first game against Boudreau's Ducks.

I like it how fans seem to think that the players on their teams should consider the well-being of their fans before they consider their own...

That Hall is lazy....he isn't.
That RNH is weak and small...he isn't.
That Yakupov refuses to learn to play 2-ways...he did.
That Scrivens and Fasth are not that bad...no they are very bad.

That Patrick Kane is horrendous defensively. He's actually picked up his 2 way game, still pretty bad but not nearly as bad as he used to be.
That Duncan Keith is average defensively. C'mon he's one of the best at using their stick to break up break out passes or odd man rushes in the league.
People say Crosby is bad defemsively, he's not amazing but he's definitely not lazy and he's probably above average if you watch him
One last one is that great two way players defensively like toews, or Bergeron's, or kopitar's defensive play is good enough to make them equal to incredible offensive players like Crosby, Malkin, or Stamkos

Vernon fiddler chews his gum loud in warmup. Plus he has a hotshot big shot smile, and skates like he has 10lbs of boiled olives on his ankles
