I really don't get why anyone is upset at whether it's Boston or Pittsburgh that misses. Especially if Pittsburgh makes it.
"The first overall pick goes to...*drum roll*... the Pittsburgh Penguins."

Berra was awesome. 6-0 in shootouts now. Get that guy.
I kind of wanted to see the Kings make the playoffs. I wanted to see them play the Hawks again. But they and especially their 'fans' deserve to miss it. They act like they are so good that can just coast through the regular season, which is fine until something like this happens. The arrogance their fan base has is embarrassing.
Bob Mckenzie - "But they don't have a first round pick"
Bettman " Hey what can I say, the ping pong ball popped up it says penguins, they get the first pick. Who am i to argue with the great ping pong ball machine"
What does a fan base have to do with anything? Who cares? When you're a winner, you gain interest, and thus fans. That's how sports works. The Flyers wouldn't be the Flyers if Ed Snider, Bobby Clarke and Bernie Parent went to Kansas City instead of Philadelphia. Same with the Blackhawks, and the Ducks, and the Penguins, and everybody else. And the Phillies.
What? I think their fanbase is annoying and arrogant ant therefore I am glad their team missed the playoffs. What's wrong with that? I really don't even care whether they're real fans or fake fans. They act like their team didn't have to suck for many years to get where they are today.
