If Tampa decides that the reaction to their finish is to go sign him (based off rumors that he'd like to play with Hedman), their moving of pieces to make room for it could make this an insane offseason.

I can't wrap my head around giving 1/8 of our cap for him, considering who we already have on D, but I am basically deferring to your opinion of the signing should we do it and trusting that you are right.

The great thing about signing him would be that we couldn't afford (literally) to make a big-dollar idiotic move elsewhere, at least in free agency.
