Stamkos had 9 hits last night. Compare that to 20 hits Stars had as whole and his leadership can not be ignored. And the value he brings to powerplay is gonna be too much for a team to ignore. I fully expect Habs, Red Wings to go all in.

Doesn't matter, they'd just trade the "whiners" and carry on with Tortellini and a bunch of grinders who PLAY THE RIGHT WAY and actually WANT TO BE THERE
Yeah Copper, Brind Amour and Sullivan could be all available and flyers would still hold on to Tortorella thinking he's the best coach anyway.

Is the money worth it though?

I’m not sure if Tampa’s cap but taking a little bit less on paper, to avoid the taxes of other places would be a good incentive.

Have to think he’s established his life down in Florida.

Curious what they do, if they try to retool it a bit or keep the boys together like Pittsburgh?

Realistically Stamkos is a winger at this point and pp specialist at best. I'm pretty sure they have more important holes in their roster to fill out plus I want to see someone else make their own Hayes sized blunder.

Interesting to see whether it's Šilovs or DeSmith in net for Vancouver today. 5am start, so might be (very) early morning alarm clock and midday powernap kind of a situation [: If it's DeSmith, back to sleep, of course :D

Looks like Šilovs starting!
