Always thought she was great on Lost and a little underused.

This sucks. She was an absolutley amazing actress, and helped to ferment my love for science fiction. She will be greatly missed.

The B5 cast has had some absolute shit luck.

insane if true, given that Clark Middleton (another great sci-fi actor) died from that not too long ago

WNV was pretty big in early 2002 here in Illinois when we had largest cases and deaths at one point nationally. The state + counties were actively spraying thru summer to kill mosquito's for several years

After those years of heavy rates of infection , etc it dropped to low #'s in summer with usually just a few cases now in summer and when someone gets it or they find it in mosquito's they usually spray stagnant water area's , etc in county of positive test to prevent outbreak again similar to what we had in early 00's

I believe its more common now out West especially the Great Plains though rarely hear about fatalities associated with it anymore
