People are really down on Falk. I though he was a fine #7 guy. I just wanted him to use his size more than he did.

As another poster alluded to, he is a Nate Prosser/Clayton Stoner clone. This team is being heavily designed to be fast and quick on the transition to move it up to the offensive zone. Faulk isn't exactly known to do that. Otherwise he would have been picked up on a one-way from someone. And is also the same reason Prosser hasn't been signed with someone.

I thought that was his calling card?
Now Falk, on the other hand...
Knocking Falk's hockey skills is a head scratcher, because that's not why he was traded in the first place. For a guy his size, his skating and puck skills are decent.
The only reason the team picked Stoner over Falk is that Stoner realized that his paycheck gets cashed by being physical. Falk has not realized that yet. Lucky for him, he gets another chance.
