A list of available players will be posted after the dispersal draft.
To submit an offer to a player, it MUST be in this form:

player's name
former team
your offer(amount and length)
clauses/notes(like NTC, you'll be captain and such)

This will help save time. There will be updates as often as I can do them.
Player's will not necessarily sign to the highest bidder. Competitive team, location of team, friends on the team will all be factors.

Please keep cap in mind as you offer.

More UFA details: Officially begins at 8 am central 10/29. IThis what I have as a list. I easily could have missed someone who taken in the dispersal draft. The Produce Man will be the agent for players I want to offer contracts to (have to look better at the list. I also will have announcement about another group of UFA's tomorrow. Lastly some patience please I will post updates, but they won't be every 15 min.

I would say no personally. Spacecorn is a good GM and is usually around. Maybe something is happening weather wise where he lives? I'd give him the benefit of the doubt before disbanding his team. I think he should forfeit his picks, but with the cap going up, he will have plenty of cap space to sign UFAs with.

I agree, but the entertainment of this game would be increased a ton if everyone was throwing money at Chara, Lucic, and Seguin.

Lastly: Teams can have an "ahl" team, made up of players who have signed contracts but are not yet on the NHL roster. There will be a max salary on these players, and once the max has been hit, decisions will be made based more on perceived opportunities, team reputation, and team location. Max number is 20 players. These must be non-nhl roster players as found on cap geek. AHL team in this league is not where you can sign say Vincent Lecavalier and "store" him in the AHL. This AHL team is made up of Non-NHL roster players who have signed a contract. The 20 can come from both your own team and unclaimed teams. I have a short list of the "name" players. If you look these players up on capgeek, on the team page, it will be clearer what I mean by a signed yet non NHL roster player.

Something for everyone to think about: Boston. He may be in a hurricane area or otherwise have good reason, but reality for this game is that the Bruins, between the dispersal draft and free agency, the Bruins are quite far behind.

I see 2 options

Disband the team and have all player become FA's. Not entirely fair as people didn't budget for Bruin's players being available.

Disband the Bruins and have a dispersal draft. Order would be random, set by using one of the many online randomizers. Run it like a bantam draft. No real set number of rounds, just go until there is no more player interest and end it.

Thoughts?

I too have sent some reformatted deals to players I want and also I notice one of the players I submitted has the wrong name on the offer. I sent a PM about it so hopefully it gets fixed.

A note about AHL players/contracts-they are likely not going to be updated or even looked at by the "agent" (me) until after NHL. Their decisions will be based much more on intangibles... opportunity, location, team reputation, the possibility of playing with elite players someday (like say Crosby). That will take a bit of research and reading on my part. I'll do that work, just want NHL out of the way first.

The are thrilled to add Okposo and Lehner to the mix. Lehtonen/Lehner is quite an upgrade over Bryz/Leighton, and Okposo will fit perfectly with the young core of Schenn, Couts, and Read.
