Stars need goalscoring not more grinders. Perry might provide scoring , Hartman def won't.

$1.9m seems a little rich for a 4th line that already has Foligno, but at 2 years I don't think it matters. The team could use a pest, and it sounds like he can slot up for a game here and there when injuries happen.

Agreed. Big, strong guys like Ek and Greenway need to have a bit of Hartman's attitude rub off on them, though Greenway certainly has moments last year when he was a flat out force.

Fills a needed 4th line RW role who can add attitude and grit, allowing the younger guys to earn ice time in their more natural position and not forced to play in a spot they're not suited for.

Also, keeps JT Brown out of the lineup.
