I still think it's impressive to have that skill, consistency, and longevity. Injuries end a lot of player's careers before they can reach 1,000. It's still an impressive feat.

1,000 pts is a huge milestone. 86 players have done it. But 1500 pts is legendary. 13 players. Only active players close/capable are Thornton/Crosby

Been fun watching both Daniel and Henrik over their long and illustrious careers.

I'm not a big fan of the Sedins either, but this is a stupid post. When less than .01% of players have reached a milestone it is very special.

It has literally happened less often than there have been drafts, let alone months. If you're the highest scoring player of your draft after a full career, that's a pretty big deal.

reaching 1000 games is special, let alone 1000 points. i'm pretty sure only 314 people have ever played 1000 games.
