Mike Gauthier Breaks Leg


Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - Last night during the Prince Albert Raiders 4-2 Western Hockey League victory in Regina over the Pats, defenceman Mike Gauthier suffered a broken leg.


Gauthier is expected to have surgery on the leg today in Regina and is out indefinitely.


He joins Kyle Chipchura and Jeremy Colliton on the Raiders injury list. Chipchura is out indefinitely with a severed Achilles suffered December 3rd, while Colliton is out week to week with a knee sprain suffered at the World Junior Hockey Championships December 26th.

Another Raiders potential first round pick with a bad injury.
