Maybe Kovacevic is actually decent in practice though? Who knows.

Alphonso Davies took the shootout shot for Canada that would have vaulted them into the lead 5 minutes into the World Cup. Jonathan David was the obvious guy who should have taken it... but in reality, Vitoria, the Centre Back, is actually the best shootout kicker on Team Canada (David is really good though and should have still taken it).
