The Minister of Canadian Heritage and Quebec Lieutenant Pablo Rodrigues announced today that the recent establishment of the common land border with Denmark qualifies Canada for immediate participation in the Eurovision Song Contest.

Canada now plans to send Vancouver Giant's Owner, Michael Buble, to perform a new composition written by Canadian singer/songwriter Grimes entitled:

" Thick as a Plastic Stick".

A song that was written as a homage combining Canada's rich hockey history, Grimes' current role as a hockey goalie playing with the kids in the basement and a love for the works of Jethro Tull.

Buble, the 'Cry Me a River', crooner will perform the song on May 9th in Liverpool:
