Last 5 games (2+1) +/- +5. Is there hope for this sad little man ?

Edit: Meszaros has the best +/- (-7) from defenders who played atleast 40 games.

:laugh: imagine the melts if Murray brings him back as the 'vet', still hoping to squeeze out his Ottawa version on whats hopefully a better team.

Zadorov starts in Rochester. :nod::shakehead

Funny, I was just thinking the other day about what it would be like Meszaros ended up getting a series of one year contracts and ended sticking around for 3-4 more years, a la Numminen and Patrick.

If you were looking in house for a 6-7 defender then I'd have no preference between Meszo Strachan and Benoit. If you're keeping him around because you're trying to tap into past success then no I'm not interested, I think you'd be better off gambling on an older player having a year left in the tank.

He has been playing better, it's not solely lucky bounces. I still think his NHL career is over after this season, though.
