Guelph:

Showing dangerous offense and good power play, but once they get down they are getting too emotional and taking bad penalties in the tournament.

Nick Suzuki - hot and cold in the 1st two games, he is not taking over the game like I thought he would but is showing his immense skills with flashy puck handling and tricky shots and making smart passes to go along with his excellent skating...he has been contained once they been taking the body to him.

Sean Durzi - Really impressive on the power play...good skater he is making smart passes and has a very accurate laser shot that he should use a bit more...IMO he has been Guelphs best player so far.

Isaac Ratcliffe - his skating is ok he has decent straight away speed but not great agility...he has not shown much of his talent and has been taking some bad penalties, he has to step his game up, he has been roughing it up well and is showing great determination at getting the shot away.

Nate Schnarr - really not doing much, beside being a big body who can skate well with the puck he has gotten nothing going at all offensively.

Dmitri Samorukov - Handling the puck well, has made a few blunder plays in the series that cost Guelph a bit, skating with the puck well though and making solid passes, he has been letting his man slip by him a bit though as I find he watches the play a little too much.

Alexei Toropchenko - skating well, his agility is not all that...finds open ice and has a very deadly shot, once he has a good defender on him though he is becoming invisable in the game...did well against Rouyn Noranda as they left him open all night but Halifax played him close and took away his shot.

Mackenzie Entwistle - playing very strong, going to net showing great IQ in the games I watched...but like the rest of Guelph getting too emotional.

Anthony Popovich - playing very well, the game against Halifax could have been way more Halifax goals, making some amazing big saves.

Daniil Chayka - has dressed every game but has not stepped on ice once in normal game play.

Halifax:

Halifax is working real hard, taking the body, staying on their opponent very close and making them work very hard, Halifax is skating very well and just pounding their teams down, doing very good at keeping the puck in their zone.

Justin Barron - IMO Halifax's best defenseman and they are not even using him on the power play...displaying amazing skating and agility he has made rushes out of his zone with the puck that are super impressive, keeping his calm every game and making great defensive plays and is stepping up in the offensive zone as well...

Jocktain Chainey - used on the power play all the time I find he is blundering the puck a lot, not taking his open shots but they keep counting on him on the power play.

Raphael Lavoie - playing well, needs better puck protection but has slick hands and an amazing quick release shot...he has to improve his acceleration and compete level on some shifts but he is really showing his willingness to muck it up a bit...has been one of Halifax's most over worked but steady performers.

Benoit Groulx - Playing very well, doing ok on faceoffs, handling the puck well and passing the puck very well, working hard at going after players and putting pressure on the opponent when they have puck protection, he is also shooting the puck well.

Antoine Morand - Skating well, controlling the puck well, making things happen all the time in the offensive end, he is one of Halifax's biggest offensive juggernauts in the tournament.

Alex Gravel - Playing amazing for Halifax, making huge saves, controlling rebounds and tracking the puck very well, he is keeping Halifax in the game with his great play.

Xavier Parent - working his tail off and a big spark plug in all of Halifax's games so far, making things happen with hard work and willingness to skate his butt off and go in high traffic areas and much it up.

Jared MacIsaac - playing well, making good passes, doing well in the defensive zone, but all in all is one of Halifax's and the tournaments top defenders, doing well on power play and controlling play well in even strength.
