[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

We don’t want to back away from them. We’re not going to be intimidated by it. We’re all big boys, strong guys.
We can go out there, finish our checks and counter their hits and it’ll be a fun series to be a part of.
- Derek Dorsett

We are not going to overthink it here. We did a lot of good things and we are going to continue building on that. It’s one game and we start over again on Sunday.
You have to earn it every night. You can’t depend on what happened tonight. We'll have a few days to regroup and it’s important that you start fresh for each game no matter what happened.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We knew coming in what to expect and I thought, for the most part, we executed well. We got out of our end pretty quickly and we were able to spend quite a bit of time in their end.
They did a good job, the game was tied after two. Going into the third, we killed off a big penalty and then they take a four-minute penalty and the PP did what it had to do. It produced.
- Alain Vigneault

Arranged for my local pub to show the game, so I'll be watching with a couple of Canadians... 1 Jets fan, 1 Leafs fan, 1 Flyers fan and 1 Oilers fan.

Can someone explain how stepan, Mcdonagh , and MSL are -1 but were on the ice for multiple goals when the other team only scored 1 goal????!?????

Apparently Mason only practiced 45 minutes today--didn't feel quite right--and he's not playing tomorrow. It will be Emery again.

Anyway I expect Philadelphia to play better. The Rangers will need to play better too. We need to keep our home ice advantage.

I hope they don't come out flat tomorrow. The start for both teams last game was brutal. Every pass was being fumbled. It brought great shame.

This game will tell us a lot about the team. We need to show the killer instinct that was lacking in 2012. Ending series quickly is the key to a lengthy cup run.

Let's get the first one and keep the crowd in it from the start. LGR!

ha Yeah I had to change some plans around too at the risk of looking like a complete d bag. Regular season games are one thing, but playoffs? pff

To be fair, I hardly ever have to change my plans because everyone is asleep haha. Afternoon games are the ones I take the day off for.
