Lol what. McDavid is a far more mature player mentally and emotionally than Crosby was at his age.

No, "Lol what." to you. On the ice, Crosby yapped a lot to players and refs, but he left it all on the ice. That just comes from being super competitive. Crosby wants to win, and he has, and will likely win again this year. Off the ice he carried himself VERY well, and still does.

They definitely pay attention. They keep up with career milestones as well. Not just their own, but teammates and friends around the league.

David Legwand was famous on the Preds for always retrieving the puck from a players first goal and giving it to the trainer so it could be presented after the game.

Every team has a guy like this. Milan Lucic did this when he was a Bruin; Patrice Bergeron still does it.
