McDavid/Crosby replacing Gretzky in his era, who gets more points

Lets assume this is peak Crosby and the current McDavid (since we havent seen his peak yet) and we replace Gretzky with McDavid or Crosby, so that McDavid/Crosby are playing on the exact same team that Gretzky used to be on. Assume that equipment is the same as the 1980 era however Crosby and McDavid can use there current skill and endurance.


What I basically am trying to say is that I want to see who gets more points if Crosby/McDavid got to play on the exact same team that Gretzky did replacing him.

Assumptions: Peak Crosby (skill/endurance), Current McDavid. No injuries since Gretzky didnt really get injured.
