Any news on whether or not Jamie McBain is signing with Swiss league? There were rumours he was, but nothing since.

There was a rumor that the Zurich Lions wanted to take him under contract but since then they have added Derek Smith to their roster and are set on defense.

Whether there are other teams interested in trying him I don´t know, but most teams are looking for forwards or cheaper options.

So right now it isn´t likely that he´ll sign in Switzerland, he´ll probably go to the KHL (or AHL)

Which teams still have import spots to fill anyway? Off the top of my head, Ambrì, Kloten and Zug. Kloten already has two imports on defense, that leaves Ambrì and Zug as the only possibilities.
