GDT: Maybe Ol’ AD Keeps The Streak Going

It wasn't even forced. The team was so bad at times, it was legitimately funny. Like, the players were getting paid millions, the GM and the coach had hefty salaries themselves, and we somehow managed to put together some godawful performances over the years.

Remember when we gave up 3 shorthanded goals on the same powerplay?

How about one of the many times we scored late to tie it, and then gave up a goal in the less than minute remaining in the game?

It was hockey purgatory. Never good enough to make the playoffs, but never bad enough to get a top pick (the Svech lottery excepted, obviously). Literally nothing to be happy about over the course of nearly a decade.

Cup or not, I’m enjoying their current success. It’s definitely preferable to where we were.
