Value of: Max Jones

Canuck fan wondering the value of Jones. Like the way the kid plays. Big and fast and knows how to use his size. Doesn't seem to have much offensive upside, but seems above average defensively.

What would it take to get him? Does Kole Lind sound like fair value? 1 year younger, more offensive upside it seems as he had a brutal 1st year in the AHL but worked hard in the summer to overcome some of his weaknesses to where he's become a top 6 forward at 21 down in the A. Putting up better numbers than Jones himself at that age down there

I'd have to believe that Max Jones is the type of player the Ducks want to keep and rebuild with. Bring him up together with Steel like this generation's (poor man's) Getzlaf and Perry.

I'd have to believe that Max Jones is the type of player the Ducks want to keep and rebuild with. Bring him up together with Steel like this generation's (poor man's) Getzlaf and Perry.

No one should expect Jones to even be a poor man's Perry, he likely ends up being more than a complimentary piece than a go to guy. But having just given up Ritchie, the Ducks can really use a big winger like Jones now and moving forward.

/shrug ... havnt thought about it much... doubt he holds a ton of value in a trade.
