I voted for Marner would get 60 assists. So far his career high is 47 which he got last season and he would only need 13 more to reach that number. Plus you also need to factor in the chances of him getting secondary assists.

Matthews should score at least 45 goals this year if he stays healthy.

I have a feeling that teams will be taking runs at him more this season as Boston did in the playoffs. I hope he isn't another Joffrey Lupul in terms of durability. Nobody wants to admit it but that's a big concern to me.

Considering they're on the PP together now, not sure how you can have one without the other. I voted both, Matthews may be the top scorer in the league this year.

Matthews goals.

Sure helps that he's sitting at 2 already after one game, and he's hit 40 before.

the question should be who hits the number 1st? Both could do it this year but who gets there first?

Didn't see both option... but I think Marner is more likely to hit 60a than Matthews 50g.

Could go either way. No one scored 50G last season (obviously Ovechkin missed by just 1, others were further off enough) but almost a couple of handfuls reached or surpassed 60 assists. Fifty goals is closer though to Matthews' career high than sixty assists is to Marner's (but again, not by much).
