gross play....we will see how DoPS feels about protecting players....anyone who has played knows that those knee on knee hits are just as dangerous as the head hits... sometimes knee on knee hits are a accident (doesnt happen often), and this isnt one of them...Irwin should get a call, and they refs should be given a game or two for that "miss".

Unfortunate result but not a bad hit.

Irwin was leading with the shoulder and the forward side stepped and contorted his body to avoid the shoulder and ran into into the knee.

No. That knee is leading and Irwin makes no reasonable attempt to secure shoulder contact.

Doesn't look intentional. He takes a wide stance and looks like he is going for shoulder to shoulder. He pulled up and tucked his arm, it seems pretty clear that is the hit he intends on. He misses / Kossila slips around it and it unfortunately ends up knee on knee.

That was what I saw as well and would have had no issue with him being penalized for it. Glad to see Kossila was back out and looking no worse for wear.
