I read the box scores and can't seem to watch him live so i defer to those who can...what is your take on this kid? It looks that he lit up the WHL with 36 goals and 38 assists in just 68 games. Not to mention he was the WHL's top goal scorer in the playoffs.

Keep in mind he turns 21 on Saturday....playing against (for the most part) young kids.

He attended a Canucks camp in the past and was signed by Dallas late last year.

Really like him, but as leoleo says, you have to keep in mind he is a veteran in the league. Still doesn't take away from what he's done. He hits, fights, can skate and has a rocket shot. Very solid defensive player. Screams 'NHL role player' when watching him.
