I wonder when Kypper takes up this "should stars kill penalties" narrative:laugh:

The PK has been effective for most of the season, Boston has been unusually good on the PP this series

just a side note;

Toews leads Chicago forwards in PK time

Brad Marchand leads Bruins forwards in PK time

Marner has been one of the best PKers I've seen. I'm of the opinion that most on the PK is fairly replaceable and that's why you shouldn't use stars there. Mitch is an exception.

This series he's been as passive and lost as everybody else though.

ive noticed as well he can get a little bit carried away, which can be a good thing sometimes, but others it takes him out of position. He starts chasing it a little too far and it becomes a simple pass and goal to his "zone of protection" he often does this 5 on 5 too.

Again he has been fantastic, but youthful exuberance sometimes takes him too far out of position in the dzone/pk

Marner got selfish in game 6, he will learn from his mistakes. Both pp goals were partially his fault.

Maybe the pk struggles have been bittersweet for Babcock, as Lindholm was a guy he leaned on during the PK and Dubas traded him away for a prospect.
