The Naki
That was a good period, the score doesn't reflect that but the boys look great

We keep playing like this and we're going to take some beating

Just as Hyman was in the AHL; created a ton of room for Nylander and looked like a legitimate PWF in his rookie year w/ the Marlies. Laughable that people still criticize Hyman after his play against the Bruins. He's the last guy to blame out of those three.

Gauthier looked good in the second. Hopefully he will continue into the third.
The Goat always impresses me live. His hands and finesse are a lot more apparent when you watch him live for whatever reason. His speed has come a long way, too. Hope to see him as a regular next season, battling it out with Aaltonen/Lindholm.

Grundstrom's shot is next level. He and Johnsson will be huge additions to this team in the near future. The Leafs need that Sharp esque player to take them to the next level.

Liljegren looks NHL ready. He will get NHL games next season.
Not even close. Still at least 1 year out from NHL action.

Still soft on pucks, bad balance/falls over constantly when engaged, makes a lot of untimed turnovers, etc. Reference last game for example when he trips over himself un-pressured leading to a 3 on 1 late in the game which could put the Marlies down 1-0 this series if not for Sparks; that's a constant occurrence.

To his credit, he's more willing to engage physically than a lot of players his age, he just desperately needs strength. If you've watched more than a game or two of his this season i'd seriously question how you could conclude that this guy is close to NHL ready. Very, very raw.

Yeah, Liljegren needs another year in the AHL at a minimum. He'd be exposed bigly at NHL level. Loads of potential though.

Marlies need to wake up, they've been asleep since the 3rd period minus the 1st line.
