He had a slow start to the year in the AHL due to an injury but his final 35AHL games (Includes playoffs) he had 12G and 31Pts.

Outstanding numbers from a 20 year old rookie in the AHL... in the 3 games he was called up here he had 10Hits... dude is polished in the defensive end as well.

I see a potential 25-30G, 60-65 point winger
who is excellent in the defensive end
And throws 200+ hits a season

A dominant two-way top six forward

I think undoubtedly getting a quality top 6 forward that plays "the right way".

He's too smart a player not to succeed at the next level.

He'll find his niche at the NHL level and develop into a quality top 6 winger.

He has way too much skill at a young age for him not to fix the minor details in his game to succeed in the pro level.

Also, in just 2 years we have seen his skating go from a serious issue to an average one. No reason to think it wont progress.

Stone was dominant towards the end of the season and heading into the playoffs in the A.
