Tough to say, because the Wild have had other 4x top 4 guys and most of the time they've been ahead of him for whatever reason.

I think he's a top 4 dman, at least a #4. But we have to see how he does with increased role in Buffalo. I hope people think of him as a #3 by the end of next season, because that would mean Buffalo is a better team.

He is a 4th dman in my opinion. The reason Wild have used him in 3rd pair is because he is reliable and can carry the 6th. He used to play in second pair few seasons ago and looked good when we had (sides not right):
Suter-Brodin
Scandella-Spurgeon
Stoner-Prosser/whoever

Excellent #4. He isn't a top 4 pairing leader. And he isn't going to be your #2.

So...by deduction, he is a 4.
